Jan Kalyaan For National Integration
The National integeration is of vital importance in the changing social structure of the nation which is poised on the brink of an economic boom and yet faces many problems on the social front. Indian society has multiple layers of social division on the basis of religion, creed, caste, gender and class. In our ideal to create a classless welfare state, we have to strive towards creating equal opportunities for all citizens regardless of their social division.
Our visionary founding fathers and the architects of the Indian constitution
created a flawless blue print for the reconstruction of the nation. More than six
decades after independence, the country has made long strides in the fields of education, literacy, health care and infrastructure, but social development is the front which needs greatest attention at this point of time. The progress of the nation depends upon equitable economic grooth as opposed to the growth of certain sections while others are left behind. If India is to become a global super power we will have to focus attention upon those sections that are most in need of socio-economic empowerment. National integration is promoted by the feeling of oneness in every citizen’s heart. This depends upon pride in the nation and confidence in the national leaders.
The largest democracy in the world is a young and vibrant nation. As Indian, we have to participate in public life with a spirit of pride for our glorious and ancient civilization, our growing strength in the knowledge spheres and the shining
optimism of our youth and working people. The spirit of pride can be engendered by the national leadrs by providing opportunities for social empowerment through
scientifically formulated programmes of development.
It is our firm conviction that socio-economic growth of the country as a whole depends in large measure upon the paricipation of women in public life and in the democratic process. When we speak of National integration, we must consider, not only the empowerment of any religious denominations but also the social division of our country. By the founding of Jan Kalyaan Morcha, we have been doing for over all development of the society and integration of the country for last 20 years.
